Costs 2011 Dates and Times Hosts Hosts Responsibility Sign Up To Be a Host Bad Weather Rule
This is an organized group that gathers at the Island Nine hole golf course on alternate Fridays of the month at 5:00pm (except where indicated on the schedule below). The mission of this group is to have fun playing 4 person golf scrambles with different partners each week.
The group’s coordinators make up the team assignments and game rules for the day.
The group organizes the “dine” that immediately follows the golf event. This year we will be in the Island Room for all meals, with the option to sit on the patio if desired. This meal is catered at a cost of $10.00 per person.
Each person is responsible to bring their own “picnic basket” of plates, silverware, and beverages of their choice.


Meal: $10 per person
Island Room rental fee: $1 per person
Carts: $3.50 per person
Golf fees: golf activity card, daily green fees, punch cards (they do not have an expiration date)
Please try and bring the exact money that you will need to cover the cost of the meal and rent fees, cash or a check made out to Nine & Dine. Change is not always available.
When you register to play golf you will automatically be included in the count for the meal(s). Should you need to cancel after the cut-off date (noon Wednesday), you will be responsible to pay the club for the meal(s). The club nor the Rec Center will be responsible to find a substitute(s). (If you cancel before noon on Wednesday, no payment is required.)
There is a one time fee of $5.00 per person. This money will be used in case we need to pay the caterer for meals for a no show. While this is very rare, it could happen. We may use any funds left for year end prizes.

This year we will be DINING in the Island Room. With that change, we will be responsible to clean up. So, to split up that small effort, we will need 4 hosts for each date.
On each date of play, you will need to:
- Set up the Island Room for the meal. Monica will have the key. If you want to set it up before she opens it for cooking, borrow a key from the rec center and return it to them when finished.
- Check in golfers and collect the meal and rental fees. 30 minutes prior to the tee time.
- Get the key from Monica after golf
- Clean up the island room, returning furniture to original arrangement, vacuum, and remove trash to the dumpster.
- Return the key and the check in sheet to the rec center
This reservation must be made the Wednesday prior to the Friday event.
With this reservation, all golfers will also “dine”. If there is an additional meal you want to order, please indicate that when you call for reservations. Cancellations are also due by the cut off. If you need to cancel after noon Wednesday, please contact one of the coordinators. We are committed to pay our caterer for the number of meals ordered. Meals ordered must be paid for even if you do not attend. (You can always bring containers and take it with you if you want to or ask someone to take it for you).

Pay the host for you meal(s) when you check-in to play golf at the Rec Center.

If there is bad weather and we cannot play golf, we will still meet for the DINE part of the event. We will continue to DINE at the normal time (6:00 usually). Arrive at golf time and play cards with the group.
