Holiday Island residents volunteer to clean up trash along our local streets on a daily basis. This happens without any membership requirements or organized meeting. Anyone and everyone is welcome! Our daily walkers simply carry a bag with them on their walks. This service is highly appreciated, and helps make this a wonderful place to live.
The highway clean up “event” occurs a couple times a year to cover 3 miles on highway 187 and 3 miles on highway 23. A great thank you lunch is provided after these events.
At least twice a year we gather to clean up our lakeside. We remove trash, tree limbs and other debris along our lakeside to maintain our clean and safe environment.
