WEB Policies

• There will be one central person responsible for putting items on the web server. 
• There will be a backup person.
• The central person will review information for "appropriateness", and request updates from the submitter as required.
• Any costs related to the creation and maintenance of the web site is the responsibility of HIHA.
• Counters will be provide so traffic on each page can be identified.

Content Responsibility

• Each group or organization must assign a responsible person.
• This responsible person is solely responsible for that groups content.  The content may include anything related to that organization.  This may include sales if related to the organization.
• The organization will assign a contact person listed on their web page.  This information will include the information provided by that contact.  Web related Email will be offered.
• Pictures will be allowed if in the acceptable formats.
• Include a date of each page of content
• Information may be submitted on a complete web page  OR
• Information may be in any of these electronic formats:

Acceptable picture formats are: ,jpeg, .gif, tiff

Acceptable text formats are: .txt, .doc, .rft 

Acceptable sound format is: .wav  Sound will be limited to 2 loops.

*If there are other formats desired, contact the web master for options.

Business Relationships

• HIHA web site will not allow links to businesses website
• HIHA web site will not be used to sell products by individuals or  businesses

WEB Site Management

• Front Page by Microsoft will be the preferred software for creating web pages. 
• A notice will be sent to each contact person yearly for updates
• Pages will be removed if information is not kept current
• Contact person will provide information to a management team member for uploading to the server
• The WEB site is for the benefit of Holiday Island Homeowners, its members, related organizations, and committees.
• Links to other web pages will be monitored for validity and connectivity.
• Web pages may be developed and updated for organizations within Holiday Island, content is the responsibility of the organizations representative.
• A calendar will be available and maintained for all organizations to include their events
